Great adventure girls!! Spotted you on Hwy 2 three times today. I work for the Chippewa National Forest at Norway Beach. Just read the article in the Bemidji Pioneer. Be safe and have loads of fun. I deeply regret not stopping and introducing myself. Hope you enjoyed pedaling thru the Chippewa, which by the way is 100 years old this year.

That’s great Mike! We actually haven’t seen the article yet, would you be able to post a link to it on our blog? That would be wonderful! We definitely did enjoy biking through the Chippewa- what beautiful scenery!

You are off to a good start with a light load, I think you will do fine. Looking at the pictures today while eating my lunch, I almost spit my food out laughing at one picture; the one with a little stream with a sign labeling it the Mississippi River. The river sure is different down here in New Orleans.

Just wanted you to know…when you get to us…we won’t have anything planted…we lost most of everything do to the heavy rainfall this summer and now Gustaf…there will be lot of clean up to do tho if you still want to come here…we have 14 greenhouses to clean up and most are without cover at this time. Take care and be careful…you are in our prayers.

Cool pics! I felt like I was right there with you. I had no idea how your bikes were so loaded up. How do you do it? It makes doing a triathlon seem easy. I am curious to know if you are on track with your schedule?
Blessings to you all!

Thanks for taking me along on your journey I enjoyed the pictures and the info. It sounds as if your learned a lot. By the way how much milk does a cow give in a day and how many free beers did you get after the Bud tour? Be safe and enjoy.
